What Are Crexi Auctions?
Crexi Auctions are time-bound online commercial real estate sales events that give qualified buyers the opportunity to bid on vetted investment properties. Each auction runs for a defined period, typically two to three days, during which registered bidders can place real-time offers. Properties are marketed in advance to generate exposure and competition, and many are sold subject to seller approval.
Crexi hosts two (2) auctions a month, each with a submission deadline, marketing period, and closing date outlined above.

Are auctions binding?
Yes. Winning a bid typically results in a binding purchase contract, subject to terms outlined in the offering memorandum or PSA. The winning bidder will need to access and sign the electronic documents on the day of the auction and execute within 2 hours following the conclusion of the sale.
Can I finance my purchase?
Yes, but be aware that most auctions require a short closing timeline, so you should have pre-arranged financing or the ability to close with cash.
Can I visit the property in person?
Yes. Crexi encourages bidders to perform due diligence, which may include site visits, financial reviews, and inspections. Yes, absolutely. Contact the listing agent for either a virtual or on site tour.
What happens if the reserve isn’t met?
If the auction has a reserve price and bidding does not meet it, the seller may choose to negotiate post-auction with the highest bidder or relist the asset.
