The property neighborhood is referred to as Historical Downtown Liberty, Missouri. It is located one block off the Liberty Square between N Water Street and N Missouri Street. It is across from the Liberty City Hall and Police Department. The building was built in 1880 and has two stories with the second floor unfinished. The two buildings have been connected by an approximate 20ft opening allowing it to appear as one large space on the main floor. There have also been cut-outs put in on the second floor to move from one building to the other.
In 2020 exterior improvements were made to the property including front patio seating, new windows and rollup garage bay doors in order to qualify for the 2020 Clay COunty Tax abatement program. The abatement started in 2021 and will go for 10 years.
