BlueDot Coworking was established with the purpose of operating community-oriented coworking spaces for Appalachia's remote workforce. A designated 501c3 nonprofit, BlueDot Coworking's mission is to support professionals and organizations in growing their small businesses, careers and nonprofits. BlueDot Coworking serves existing community members needing a physical space to work their remote jobs and a new demographic of professionals looking to make Southeast Ohio their home. In addition to supporting BlueDot Coworking, The Athens County Foundation will be making the Armory their new home—a place to convene, connect, and co-create alongside the community to advance a healthy, inclusive, and thriving Athens County.
