The northern part of Scarborough is a hidden gem that is overshadowed by route 1.  Many people, including local residents, do not realize how busy this part of town really is.  It is  a vibrant area with many beautiful homes surrounding it, yet it offers very little in terms of services and retail.  

After studying the demographics, the traffic patterns, and the area itself, we were convinced that a retail shopping center would do very well here; thus, we developed Scarborough crossing, at the intersection of the towns of Scarborough, Westbrook and Gorham.
