History: 40 West Fourth Centre was the first modern skyscraper built in Dayton. Designed by architect Paul Deneau, upon completion in 1969, it was the tallest building in Dayton. The building is constructed of reinforced concrete with the facades of brick and glass curtain walls. The building comprises of Miesian skyscraper elements such as glass curtain walls and of New Formalism such as its symmetrical composition, brick facades, and structural clarity. Windsor companies is proud to reconstruct this structure into a contemporary adaption of its history.
