Trinity is located about halfway between Birmingham and Nashville. Chattanooga, Memphis, Knoxville, Montgomery and Atlanta are all two to four hours away. Huntsville and the new Mazda Toyota plant are 20 minutes from this site. Approximately half of the U.S. population lives within a day's drive of this location. This is an exceptional site for a data center or for a manufacturing or warehouse user. There is frontage on Norfolk Southern’s main line, but currently no spur. Facebook recently located a $700 million data center in Huntsville, and Google has built a $600 million data center under in Stevenson, AL, east of Huntsville. Technology driven industries thrive in north Alabama, including automotive, aerospace, biotechnology and defense companies.
The Huntsville International Airport and its Intermodal Center provide air and rail service throughout the country and around the world. There are weekly cargo flights to Europe, Asia and South America. The Tennessee River and its busiest port, the Port of Decatur, are minutes from Steed Business Park, providing barge access in the southeastern US and the ability to reach the Gulf of Mexico as well, via the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway.
US Highway 72 and I-65 provide East-West and North-South roads, connecting north Alabama to the rest of the country. Norfolk Southern and CSX provide rail service throughout the country from north Alabama as well, offering many options for bringing in raw materials and shipping finished goods.
