The White House on Washington Street is the historic home of the storied White furniture family, leaders of North Carolina’s early furniture manufacturing aristocracy.

Gradually reopened months ago, WHW has again received a warm reception as a unique and gracious option for events, weddings and parties. A robust formal Afternoon Tea service has been resumed three days a week and caters to a receptive and appreciative audience from a large surrounding area.

WHW enjoys an ongoing relationship with a nearby, well-established catering operation, capable of any level of participation in booking, marketing and catering.
