History of Bites Pub & Grub:

Bite's log building was constructed around 1998 with locally sourced birch, red oak, and Norway pines sourced from the George Kinney in Crow Wing County, Minnesota. The restaurant origi- nally began as the Red Pine Supper Club. In 2011 the restaurant was transformed with a new concept, Bite's Grill & Bar. In 2013, Roger and Wendy Hoplin purchased the restaurant. Roger and Wendy ran the restaurant until March 2024 when they retired and sold the restaurant to the current owner, Daryn Steinert. The restaurant has been a successful operation for Daryn and his family, but they are looking to move out of state for a new opportunity.
