Original Solomon #32 Lodge
Hospitality / Living
Marketing description
There are no comps for this property. There never will be.
Built in 1915 as the Original Solomon Masonic Lodge #32 — and listed now in its 111th year — this 4,765 sq ft two-story brick landmark occupies a primary corner of downtown Krebs at the intersection of Washington Avenue and South Main Street. It has stood here through two world wars, the Great Depression, Cuban Missile Crisis & more than a century of Oklahoma Weather. What it looks like today, (dependent on your feet placement), could be something else entirely.
The first floor is a fully realized private event and entertainment space — a vampire's hideout by day, a living art installation by night. The original Antique tin tile ceiling crest 13'5" overhead. A seven-pod vertical hexagonal voyeur tower rises two stories from the blackened & metallic flake concrete floor. A hand-built elevated penny stage sustains its own presents. A Luxfer prism bar installation — 248 sun-purpled manganese glass panes salvaged from the original 1915 windows — illuminated (indeed). Two custom 13-foot dining tables run a ample distance of the room. The neon sign overhead reads: All Along the Watchtower. Nothing in this space was bought off a shelf. Everything was built by hand, enhanced with proper vibes, all from a single ultra-vision.
Upstairs is a 2,382 sq ft loft apartment with 12-foot original antique tin ceilings, hardwood floors, 11 windows, a custom spiral staircase connecting both floors, and a master bathroom that involuntarily provokes the -O- face. Above that — a rooftop glass enclosure with 360-degree views of the town below. The building has been lived in, loved, and relentlessly improved for six years by a single owner who cut many corners, in some cases polished and in others sharpened those same corners. Spared no expense, as the expense governed the design.
Investment highlights
NOTABLE: 2026 marks this building's 111th year. In numerology and Masonic
tradition, 111 carries significant symbolic meaning — new beginnings, vision, and
purposeful creation. This property is listed in its 111th birthday year.
PROPERTY IDENTIFICATION: This document refers to the ORIGINAL Solomon
Masonic Lodge #32 (circa 1915), located on the west side of South Main Street
(north-south), south of Washington Avenue (east-west) — at the primary
intersection of Krebs. The Modern Solomon Lodge #32 is a separate building
located directly across Washington Avenue to the north and is NOT part of this
listing.
Section 1: Real Estate & Structural Assets
1.1 Main Building — Original Solomon Masonic Lodge #32
Year built: circa 1915. Historic two-story brick construction (15in thick). Exterior largely
original with preservation labor applied. Masonic Square & Compass emblem on facade.
Main building measured from exterior: approximately 4,765 sq ft. Combined with
attached north storage building: approximately 4,847 sq ft total under one roof. All
square footage measured from exterior walls — slight variation possible due to brick
face measurement points.
Ceiling heights range from 7'10" to 13'5" throughout the building. Original ornate antique
tin tile ceilings throughout most of the building; additional tin tiles clad the western wall
of the downstairs event area.
Completed Structural & Infrastructure Improvements:
PowerJack Foundation Repair: The entire southern wall professionally stabilized and
repaired by PowerJack, a specialist foundation repair contractor. Full service
documentation in Seller's possession — available to qualified buyers upon request.
Elastomeric Roof Coating: Entire main building roof freshly treated with 10-year
elastomeric membrane. No active leaks. Product specifications retained on-site for buyer
reference and future maintenance reordering.
Thompson's WaterSeal Exterior Treatment: Entire exterior brick facade treated with
Thompson's WaterSeal waterproofing. Most visible cracks and mortar voids filled and
sealed prior to listing. Proactive preservation of 111-year-old masonry.
Sewer Line Replacement: New 4-inch sewer line installed from rear of building to city
connection, replacing corroded original cast iron and ceramic pipe. Proper grade
installed. Bidirectional cleanouts installed inside (bathroom) and outside. Approximately
10 feet of original line under building slab retained — visually confirmed intact and fully
serviceable from either cleanout direction.
Electrical Infrastructure: Property is served by five breaker panels — (1) main interior on/
off switch box at rear of building in unison with main breaker, (2) exterior breaker box
servicing upstairs, (3) upstairs residential loft panel, (4) new owner-installed 100-amp
panel in downstairs front event/bar area, (5) Lot 1 separate electrical pole, breaker panel,
and 50-amp plug. Each panel serves a distinct zone. Two independent 50-amp exterior
and interior plugs service food trucks, welders, and RV use.
Full HVAC Duct System Installation: When Owner took possession only the master
bedroom had existing ductwork. Owner installed all 12-inch ducting throughout both
floors — approximately 5 ceiling vents and 4 floor vents upstairs, approximately 7 vents
downstairs, plus 2 air diversion manifolds for floor-to-floor airflow balancing. The entire
building's air distribution system is owner-installed. Property has been successfully
operated for 6 years on a single HVAC unit serving both floors using this system.
Replaced 10 Second Floor windows (east, north, western facades); 3 Large first story
windows (east facade)

1.1a Notable Disclosure — Southwestern Chimney Beehive:
A natural beehive occupies the southwestern chimney. Interior chimney access is sealed on
both ends — bees have no access to the building interior (sometimes they find away). Hive
entrance is via an exterior opening near the chimney top. Active in warm months, dormant in
winter. Rooftop is easily accessible and suitable for beehive box installation, presenting a
potential honey production opportunity.
The Masonic tradition's historic affinity for bees and the honeycomb, combined with the
hexagonal gaming tower built inside the building, creates a unique and well-documented
parallel. A community wildflower and honey partnership concept with the Modern Lodge across
the street remains an unrealized opportunity for a new owner. Seller had developed this venture
under the name Solomon's Gold — a nod to Solomon's wisdom, the Masonic tradition, the
golden color of raw honey, and the lodge community on both sides of Washington Avenue.
1.2 Attached North Storage Building (80% Complete)
Newly constructed storage building directly attached to the north side of the main building.
Approximately 82 sq ft. Could serve as third exit from first floor or converted to drive-through
use. A negotiated price reduction will be applied at closing if construction is not completed prior
to closing date.
