FEV's main campus in Auburn Hills is comprised of its comprehensive Powertrain Center and cutting-edge Vehicle & Drivetrain Lab, which includes FEV's flagship Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Development Center. The North American Technical Center supports its powertrain systems OEM clients with a broad range of design and analysis capabilities, with fully instrumented engine dynamometer cells equipped with state-of-the-art emissions benches, lubricating oil, engine coolant, intake air conditioning, and combustion analysis/data acquisition systems. The facility is multi-fuel capable - both gasoline and diesel as well as alternative fuels are supported.

FEV North America occupies four locations in Auburn Hills alone: 4554 Glenmeade Ln (North American HQ & Powertrain Center), 1300 Harmon Rd (Vehicle Development Center), 4130 Luella Ln, and 1800 Opdyke Ct (FEV Consulting). The Glenmeade building is the crown jewel - the original North American headquarters and primary engineering hub.
