The 3,728.12± acre acquisition includes 1,564.62± planted acres of pistachios and 2,158.83± acres of open land. The pistachio varieties consist of 340.02± acres of Golden Hills and 1,224.60 acres of Kerman. The before mentioned acreages include 34.69± acres of leasehold interest land with pistachio plantings and a solar array. The trees were planted from 1999 to 2019 on both Wonderful and PG-1 rootstocks. All but a small portion of the acreage is in the Pleasant Valley Water District, which does not have any surface water deliveries. The primary source of water to the orchards is provided by 12 pumps & wells with an extensive drip irrigation system. Tracts 7 & 8 reportedly have rights to access supplemental water from the Pleasant Valley Water Conveyance Partners (PVWCP) infrastructure, when available. Multiple solar arrays were constructed on the tracts to maximize energy efficiency and lower power costs.
